If you want to put an immediate smile on my face, just start playing this interview. Tony Hale could not be more delightful. One of my very favorites ever. We first met the summer before at Comic-Con and he was the sweetest there and only followed it up with this fantastic exchange. This is from exactly a year ago. We talk Veep, Arrested Development and man bags. I mean literally he is so nice he actually thinks there’s a chance I have ever been in the presence of genius Julia Dreyfus. We discuss his other castmates including Anna Chlumsky, what he’s actually carrying around in that bag on Veep and the brilliance of Kristen Wiig because of course. Plus: what does your favorite Arrested Development character say about you? Tony breaks it down. Safe to say mine is Buster.

My second Simon Pegg interview, from December 2011 during the promotion of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol! But don’t worry we cover it all. He was just about to read the Star Trek Into Darkness script, and had just finished The World’s End script. Plus a little IMAX, Tom Cruise and The Walking Dead talk. Delightful as always :)

What better way to get into the Star Trek spirit than a little Simon Pegg interview? This was during the promotion of his book Nerd Do Well, which is one of my favorite books of life for real. I mean, I love everything Simon which becomes evident very quickly in this gush-fest. We talk Comic-Con, his infamous bromance with Nick Frost, the Stars both Wars and Trek, and I can say with confidence this interview contains my greatest ever “Your Mom” joke. Ever.

Ari Graynor Interview

I’m super late to this very silly and sexy party but I recently watched “For A Good Time Call” and as predicted here in this interview with Ari Graynor, LOVED it. Can’t recommend this movie enough, I’m fascinated by the process of how it came to be, and can’t believe it was made in only 16 days! What! Plus, prepare yourself to fall in love with the adorable Mark Webber when you watch it.

Ari talks female friendships, being in the New York Times, and why she’s hanging up her “drunk hat” with this film. But I kinda hope she’s not serious about the last one.

Andrew Rannells Interview

Here is audio proof that Andrew Rannells and I are best friends. But besides that, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying The New Normal lately. This past week’s episode had a Boy Scouts storyline that made me feel a million different emotions. Probably didn’t help I was shoving Samoas in my face at the time. We chatted in the fall right before The New Normal started and certainly before the second season of Girls because I have a whole new slew of questions at this point. He’s beyond delightful so I wanted to share this interview with the world (if you didn’t catch it in my Fall TV Special at the time). Enjoy!

Melanie Lynskey interview

So I have watched “Hello I Must Be Going” like, A LOT of times this weekend. I think sometimes we fall in love with certain movies because we just happen to be watching them at the right time in our lives where it really punches you right in the heart. But I recommend this movie to everyone. It is really touching and also super sexy. Just gonna connect the dots and say Blythe Danner also played the mom in another one of my favorite sexy movies and that is “The Lucky One”. But anyway, Christopher Abbott (Charlie from Girls) is so great in this, but wow Melanie Lynskey is wonderful. So I dug up my interview with her from when the movie was released and had so much fun listening to it myself I figured I’d share. She talks about how fun a bad wardrobe can be, how Lena Dunham is her hero (duh), British TV shows, Clooney, Phillip Phillips and how she might sorta be married to Danny McBride.

Please watch “Hello I Must Be Going” and double please let me know when you do because I am going to want to talk about it for a long time.

Happy Hobbit week! Here’s my interview with Martin Freeman who could not be more delightful. He talks Hobbit feet, digital beards, confirms the painfully long wait for Sherlock, and Mandy Moore. Trust me
